Our female and male doctors offer a friendly and caring service for all your family's needs. Established in 1979 our Limerick based practice has provided high quality personal and continuing medical care to patients and families in the area for over 35 years.
Conveniently located on the Ennis Road in Limerick, between the Limerick Lawn Tennis Club and Limerick Maternity Hospital, our medical centre has ample free on street parking and is less than ten minutes walk from Limerick City Centre. Ennis Road Medical Centre is also fully wheelchair accessible. Our GPs are all on the specialist register and are members of the Irish College of General Practitioners.
Our four doctors are all based in Limerick and are available for consultation Monday to Friday. We also have two nurses who provide many services such as cervical smears, travel vaccines and childhood vaccines.
Our GP Services
We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, family planning, minor surgery, well-person check-ups and aviation medical services including pilot medicals for the Irish Aviation Authority. If you are seeking travel vaccines in Limerick, we are delighted to advise we are members of the Travel Medicine Society of Ireland, we stock a wide range of travel vaccines and are an accredited yellow fever vaccine centre.
If you have any concerns about your sexual health and are living in the Limerick area (or just visiting), we offer a discrete service with either a male or female doctor who can hopefully put your mind at ease. We offer full screening for STIs and are delighted to almost always be able to offer you a same day appointment.
Whilst we endeavour to see our patients as soon as possible, we do ask that you ring us first to reserve an appointment so that we can run our clinic in an orderly manner and minimise the waiting time for all our patients.
If you are new to our practice, please arrive a few minutes early in order to complete your registration forms before seeing a doctor. Of course it is not necessary to discuss the reason for your consult with our receptionist but please try and advise her if it is urgent, or if you feel it is likely to take longer than normal, so that we can allocate you the extra time your problem requires.
